Mustard on the Hedge

A “friend” of Courtenay Semel’s has spoken to the UK’s News of the World rag newspaper claiming that Semel was Lindsay Lohan’s first lesbian love.

I think one would have to question the sanity of the writer of this article who describes Courtenay Semel as a “stunning brunette”. What? Excuse me? Pass her the bifocals?

Anywho…the article states that while Courtenay and Lindsay were together, Samantha Ronson was strictly Lindsay’s friend in the pleutonic sense. However things changed as the two got closer and Semel was kicked to the curb. Courtenay’s pal states that Lindsay’s desire to keep their relationship secret affected their relationship, with Lindsay dating a series of guys as part of her attempt to hide her “sexual tendancies”. Lindsay didn’t do a great job on this with pictures of the couple together hitting the press (wonder what happened Lindsay’s wrist in the shot below….?? Sporting injury?) :

The relationship finally ended in December when Lindsay brought one to many men home and Semel “flew into a rage”.

Clearly Lindsay needed the support of someone that really cares for her (Ronson) and that she really loves in order to feel she can be herself and show more affection in public. Perhaps she needed time to re-establish her career after her stint in rehab and time to come to terms with her sexuality. She is afterall only 22. OR this entire thing is a complex publicity stunt….if so- congrats, because it definitely has us talking!
