10 08 2008I was thinking today about how when people make their “top five people they fancy”, it usually consists of Hollywood movie stars or musicians. So in a typical “it’s Sunday and there’s not much else to do” kinda way, I decided to compile my top five list of Irish hotties. So here goes:

I think Grainne Seoige is the first news reader that ever made me drool. There’s something so seductive and almost dirty about the way she speaks…mmm. She is widely acclaimed as Ireland’s most desireable female TV personality. [Her sister Sile Seoige isn't half bad either]

Daughter of the singer Chris de Burgh, Rosanna Davison is a model and “socialite”…kinda an Irish Paris Hilton. She is undeniably hot and is the first “Miss Ireland” to be crowned “Miss World”.

Irish singer songwriter, Gemma Hayes, is hot in a “girl next door” kinda way. She seems to be quite modest and is captivating when she plays live.

Freckled Nina Divito is an up and coming artist. While I don’t personally appreciate her “sensual shoe paintings”, I do appreciate her freckles.
(5) Mairead Nesbitt

Classical and Celtic musician, Mairead Nesbitt is fortunately as talented as she’s hot. Loving the leather pants!

You think?? I think Grainne Seoige (no.1) is very Irish looking- you’re typical Galway girl! I agree with you on no.3, Gemma Hayes, you can tell she’s Irish!

What about Aoife Cogan or Blathnaid McKenna? They would put the rest in the poor place!
Hey Will…no I’m fortunately not blind. I think Grainne is gorgeous! As for Rosanna Davidson- she may be a spoilt bimbo but this was focusing solely on looks- a shallow analysis! Totally agree that Aoife and Blathnaid are hot but only became blips on my radar after this post was compiled….they will most certainly be top of the hots on the next list though!
Rosanna is the only pretty girl here, i seen prettier girls though in Ireland that arent even famous. Professional pictures can make people look prettier than they are, when i was saw rosanna on the water safety ad i thought she was an alien which is quite funny i didnt think model.
