Jodie Marsh wants your Sperm
22 10 2008There are some people who just grate on me and Jodie Marsh is one of those people. “Glamour model” and general publicity whore, Marsh came out as a lesbian last week. Now, one week later, Jodie Marsh has made an appeal for sperm donations live on Tim Shaw’s show on Absolute Radio (formerly Virgin Radio).

Clearly Jodie is so hungry for fame she would do literally anything to generate some “buzz” around herself. Her last attempt at reinvigorating a career, consisting of topless photoshoots for tabloids and general fame-limpet activity, was when Jodie decided she wanted to get married…she just didn’t have a suitable man. She launched a website “Marry Jodie Marsh” in May 2007, inviting guys to apply and audition for the chance to be her groom. Of course all this was filmed by MTV. The show- “Totally Jodie Marsh: Who’ll Take Her Up the Aisle?” aired in July 2007 and resulted in Jodie marrying a guy called Matt Peacock (serial glamour model dater) in September. They lasted until December before splitting. Marsh said:
“…the marriage was for TV. It was never for real.” and “I’m not hiding the fact I did the TV show for money. Of course I did”.
So clearly Marsh is no stranger to the odd attention seeking stunt.
She revealed in an interview with the UK’s “Now” Magazine on October 14th that she’s in a relationship with her hairdressor Nina. Apparently they’ve known each other 12 years but the pair only became an item when Nina gave Jodie her new short haircut.
Ah Jodie, this statement alone puts a flashing big red arrow marked “Publicity Stunt Here” over this story. Are we supposed to believe that getting a short haircut triggered the activiation of the lesbian gene within you and moved you to turn your back on your Sperminator days?
So what has Jodie to say about the relationship:
“Nina’s really sexy. She asked me out and we’ve been on a few dates. I think she’s a cool girl…I love the way she kisses and she doesn’t f*** me about. I feel comfortable with her. Nina’s as sexy as any man.”
Nina better padlock her door and get a clue!
Obviously her declaration of lesbianism did not result in significant media who-ha and so Jodie checked and cross checked her list of lesbian cliches for another strategy. Mmm…cut hair short- check….get girlfriend…mmm I suppose a few dates constitute a girlfriend-check….ah yes…next step- get baby!

In an interview on Absolute Radio yesterday, Jodie entertained the shows presenter and listeners by making out with the lucky Nina and sucking on a banana!

Hey Sterkwork, hi Alex…yes Jodie is a real treat! God only knows what she’ll come out with next…she seems to be aiming to make a splash at least once a week at the moment. Perhaps next week she’ll be pregnant!?
I hate Jodie Marsh too. She’s not attractive, and looks like a washed-up barbie wanna-be. I also don’t like that she’s supposedly a “lesbian” now…mostly, because it makes me NOT want to be one if she’s in the group.
I soothe myself by reminding myself that like her shows, her breasts, and anything else she’s done - it’s likely not for real.
Nina is clearly going for a more typical lesbian look - I hope for her that it’s all part of the stratagem, and that she isn’t truly lesbian, because if she is, she is about to get hurt big time… Jodie is repulsive as a person.

I know Nina Very Well. She is so not a fake. Anyone who has enough time to comment on this in a negative way obviously does not have anything positive going on in their own life.
Hey Johny- thanks for your comment. This post was about Jodie- not Nina. If you’re a reader of the blog you’ll know that I’m on Nina’s side- questioning Jodie’s motives-not Nina’s. Other commenters are also raising questions about Jodie and not Nina. You have to admit that Jodie’s sperm-seeking antics lately are hardly something to run a Pride Flag up a post for!? That said you’re comment is fair and I genuinely wish Nina all the best…maybe she’ll be a good influence on Jodie and buy her a parcel of tact for Christmas! No doubt as someone who know’s Nina you have the benefit of hearing her and Jodie’s side- not that which plays out in the media. I’m always open to being corrected so feel free to drop me a line any time and correct me on anything.

I don’t see what the big deal is. She is obviously looking for attention, and yous are all giving it to her. Leave her be and just get on with your lives.
I like Jodie Marsh. She isnt doing anything wrong yet there are so many people hating. I’ve met her in real life and she seems genuinely nice. If she wants to go lesbian then good for her! It’s her life and she’s living it how she wants to. I don’t think her “lesbianism” is for show - I don’t think she’d stoop that low for attention. Everyone needs to take a step back and just leave her to live her life.
Hey xAimeex- it’s interesting to see people step up to defend Jodie. I don’t think anyone can be blamed for thinking she is an attention seeker. If she wanted people to step back and let people live her life she wouldn’t be so keen to court the press and live out her life in the tabloids. However I’m totally willing to believe she is a genuine person and genuinely in love with Nina…lets hope her and Nina stay together and Jodie proves the doubters wrong.
