Mustard on the Hedge

It’s officially 2009 which means this is my first blog post of the new year. The pressure to begin with something mind blowing may have overcome me were it not for the copious amounts of cold and flu medicine I’ve taken in the past 12 hours! I spent this New Years eve on the couch with my girlfriend watching atrocious television…really wasn’t in the mood for all the New Years Eve hoo-ha this year and we’re both coming down with a cold. The highlight of the evening was watching ‘Meet the Fockers’ (I laughed my ass off despite the fact that it was my second time seeing it AND I don’t remember finding it so funny first time round…this may have been the cold and flu medicine at work again!).

Just in case you didn’t catch it, here’s an extract from Britney’s appearance on the Ellen show recently:

Hurray!!! Just found out that there’s a new lesbian night running in Dublin and it doesn’t happen once a year when a group of naked lesbians sacrifice the blood of an ox to the Lord of the Dance on O’Connell Street. It will be weekly. Yes WEEKLY. About frigging time!!!

The night is called ‘Dodgeball’…perhaps the best name for a lesbian night ever! A stroke of genius by the organisers!! It will be on every Thursday night in the Dragon on Georges St. Whatever will us Irish girls do? We can now choose between Dodgeball and the two monthly nights- CaKE and Kiss…look at the scene grow!!!

What’s the difference between celebrities and us mere spokes in the wheel of life? While it’s Winter and bitterly cold, we’re dressing up in our winter woolies and all manner of ludicrous hats in an effort to stave off frost bite, they are taking all their clothes off and making millions in the process!!

Yesterday I wrote about Jessica Biel’s new movie and her photoshoot for mens mag GQ. Well today’s nipples on show are those of Marissa Tomei! The 44 year old Brooklyn girl is best known for her roles in the movies “My Cousin Vinny” and “In the Bedroom”- both of which earned her an Oscar for ‘Best Supporting Actress’.

7th Heaven was a dose of sickly sweetness that I’d occassionally flick past on a Sunday evening…I never saw any need to stop and watch. If I wanted a lesson in morals and realising the consequences of my actions I’d tune into one of the soaps. Clearly I made a grave error if Jessica Biel looked like this in the show:
